Feather Visa Compliant Health Insurance

Feather offers a simple Visa Compliant Health Insurance for expatriates which you can find here This insurance offers pricing of €72 a month if under age 65 and €258 euros a month from age 65 - 74.

The advantages of this plan include:

• An instant certificate upon sign-up for your visa application

• Unlimited coverage : No maximum coverage limit unlike other plans that are limited to €30k or €100k of coverage

• You can move to a mutuelle once your rights are activated with the CPAM

Drawbacks of this plan include:

• It doesn't cover pre-existing conditions

• Price for those age 65 - 74

Feather Mutuelle (Top-up) Health Insurance

Feather offers a mutuelle health insurance which you can sign-up for once your are registered with the CPAM. The mutuelle comes with the same 100% English speaking customer service as the expat visa compliant health insurance.

The Mutuelle offers 4 different levels of coverage including:

• Basic

• Essential

• Comfort

• Excellence

I quoted for my family of 3 rates of ~100€ to 300€ a month for the different levels of coverage.

Above the basic plan includes English tele-doc and worldwide travel coverage.

Feather Renters & Homeowners Insurance

Feather offers the same 100% English speaking customer service for their homeowners and renters insurance.

Renters and homeowners insurance is much cheaper than in the United States for example.

Feather offers a basic and premium insurances packages. I would only recommend the premium package to be honest. The cost for my insurance was about ~€20 a month for a 120 square meter apartment in Rennes.
